Make sure to read the rules, plot, and world information before submitting an application! If the character you're applying with is going to be a Lion, refer to the list of ranks in the Lions info sheet. It also helps me if you include a brief description of their role in whatever faction they're joining. Pilot, mechanic, gunner, ground crewman... There's a super secret password hidden in one of these sections! If you don't include it, I won't accept your application.
